The Chronically Care Project

I am very excited to be able to do a feature on of my best friends today. Her name is Claire and she created the Chronically Care Project. This is the next company that is going on my ‘Top Related Causes Page’. This project is hosted by the Chronically Beautiful, Claire’s blog. She handmakes fleece blankets and gives them away every other week in a giveaway hosted on her Instagram and Facebook pages. The rules for participating in the giveaway is to follow her Instagram @chronicly_claire and like her Facebook page. When the giveaway goes live, just like the post and comment about the post. If you win, you will be sent a blanket free of charge!

Claire chose to create this project to help out and encourage others in the chronic illness community. She was bedbound for two years due to her Chronic Lyme Disease, endometriosis, and all the comorbidities that come with it. Claire personally knows how difficult the seclusion and despondency feels with chronic illness. The feeling like no one cares about you or your situation. She set out to help other people know that they are not alone in their battle. Claire wants all who receive her blankets to feel loved, supported, and cared for. You also do not have to be chronically ill to enter the giveaways, because she wants to support everyone and whatever journey they may be going through.

I know that Claire is looking to grow her Chronically Care Project. It is something that she is personally invested in. I get to hear about what patterns she has picked for upcoming blankets and just how deeply involved she is. If you want to help out Claire in her mission to expand her project, you can get in touch with her through her contact page. I think that what she is doing is amazing and feel honored to be best friends with this fellow warrior. Claire even sent me my own blanket so I could feel the love, support, and warmth everyday. I love it and so does my Service Dog Minnie! Receiving a thoughtful gesture like this definitely brightens your day.

As I was planning on writing this, Claire also started a gift shop on her blog. She sells Spoonie themed items that are laser engraved and customizable. Some of what she sells includes, keychains, journals, wristbands, and decorative wooden spoons. I even got to help design one of the keychains! It’s linked here. Her gift shop page is linked here as well. I so far have bought a wristband and our collaborated keychain. I already have more in my cart and cannot wait to buy more!

Thank you for reading today’s post! I hope you all are having a wonderful day. Please subscribe and I’ll see you next time my Un-imaginables!

I’m so proud of, believe in, pray, and honored to have as a good friend in life. She has my support in all that she stands for and believes in! Way to go Claire! You got this! May God Bless and peace be with you always and forever in your journey. Thank you for sharing Jordyn! Yay! ☺
