Chronically Cute Cards

I was on Twitter several days ago when I came across something awesome. There is someone who is making handmade and personalized cards to send out to others with disabilities. I had to check it out! Meet Ruby, the beautiful soul who is making these cards. She has POTS and EDS that left her bedbound for an extended period of time. Naturally, she went on social media to find support and a connection with being so isolated.

After creating a twitter account in early 2018, she began to get immersed in the disability and chronic illness communities online. With all the support she was given, Ruby wanted to give back. Knowing the seclusion that one goes through with any type of chronic or mental illness, she wanted to help. Ruby came up with the idea of Chronically Cute Cards. It is a way for her to support the community that has supported her.

These cards are free and anyone can apply. Even a relative or friend can have one sent to their loved ones. With over 800 cards made so far, Ruby is certainly joyful and is hoping that her project will continue to grow. She does accept donations for supplies if you are looking to help out. You can find out more about this project on her website, her twitter @chr0nicallycute, and on her blog

If this is something you are interested in, go check it out! You can see a few example of her cards shown below. I am super excited to be able to shine light on someone who is doing amazing things for the chronic and mental illness communities. Please make sure to check out my new page, My Top Related Causes, where you can see her listed. I am hoping to add more beautiful websites for you all to have access to. Have a beautiful day my Un-imaginables and I’ll see you next time!
